Chicken Stock Paste
Stock Paste – This of my Freezer Staples and one of the recipes I recommend making in the first 30 days of purchasing a Thermomix®. One of the many reasons I love my Thermomix® is how easily it helps me create homemade pantry and fridge staples, like stock paste! Whether it’s vegetable, chicken, or beef, I always have a batch ready to go in my freezer… and of course, they’re all made from scratch in my Thermomix.
Why I love homemade stock paste:
- Quick & easy to prep
- Packed with flavor & nutrients
- No additives or preservatives
- Budget-friendly
- Totally customizable based on what veggies you have
What do I use it in? Soups, stews, pastas, risottos, sauces… you name it. I usually reduce the salt content and freeze it in ice cube trays (each cube = approx. 1 tbsp). It’s a great way to use up veggie scraps too, think broccoli stalks, carrot tops, or that half zucchini hiding in your fridge. I follow the Cookidoo® recipe as a base and mix in whatever extras I have on hand. Once you try making your own, you’ll never go back to store-bought again! Your Thermomix does it all: grinds the chicken, chops, cooks, blends and it’s all done in one bowl in under 30 minutes.
